To take a screenshot, hold down the lower volume button (either Volume Up or Volume Down, depending on your Kindle model) and the Power button at the same time. You will hear a "shutter" sound and see a brief flash. The screenshot will be saved in the Pictures folder, in a subfolder called Screenshots.
