In order to invite new Friends to your game, please do the following:
In the new G5 Friends interface:
- Locate the Friends icon at the bottom of your game board.
- In a new window, select the Friends tab at the very bottom of the screen.
- Select Add Friends.
From there, you can add new friends in several ways:
- In the Add Friends tab, you will see a list of 10 random users playing the same game. Select Add Friend next to individual users to send requests one by one, or select Add all friends to send friend requests to all 10 users at once.
- You can similarly invite friends from the G5 Friends tab, which shows all your friends across G5 games.
- To add a friend by Player Login, select Find by Player Login, enter their Player Login (not a Nickname), hit Search, then select Add Friend in the results.
- Additionally, you may use the Advanced Search feature to customize your search with filters. Please note: this is a paid service.
In the old G5 Friends interface:
- Locate the Friends icon at the bottom of your game board.
- In the new window, select the Invite Friends tab at the very bottom of the screen.
- In the G5 Friends tab, you can add friends using their Player Login (not their Nickname). Just type it in the search box at the top of the page and hit Invite. Below you will see a list of all your Friends in all G5 games you've ever played (choose a player or Select all and select Invite).
- In the Other Players tab, you will see a list of ten random users playing the same game (select a player or Select all and select Invite).
- You can also invite contacts from your address book to join you in the game. Go to the corresponding tab in the Invite Friends to do that.
