Question: After the latest 1.54.5400 update, my game crashes while loading or immediately after launching.
Answer: We are happy to report that our Technical Team has managed to isolate and fix the crashing issue you experienced. To apply the fix to your game, make sure you have a stable Internet connection and launch the app. Please note that you need to restart the app several times to get the fix.
Question: When trying to launch the game on my PC, I get a black or blue screen and the game does not load.
Answer: The error occurs on the Microsoft side, and we're currently communicating with them towards the resolution. The fix should be available in the next couple of days. We will keep you updated on this matter as soon as we know more.
In the meantime, you can keep playing on any other supported platform for the best gaming experience, except for Microsoft and G5 Store platforms. All you have to do is to log in to your G5 Friends account via the Change Player button in the My Profile menu and resume playing.
Question: I saw an announcement that G5 Web browser players will no longer receive any updates for Jewels of Wild West. Will I be able to transfer my progress to another platform and continue playing the updated version?
Answer: We regret to inform you that we have discontinued updates for the G5 Web browser version of Jewels of the Wild West®. However, it will still be possible to receive game updates if you download the game on your PC directly from our website g5.com (for your Mac, please use this link), or keep playing on any other supported platform.
G5 PC version is more comfortable to play and it offers the best gaming experience. Moreover, special gifts are available for players who download the G5 PC game version. Make sure to update your OS version to Windows 10 or later to be able to download the game on your PC.

- Fill in the fields with your data to create the account.
- Confirm the email address by following the link sent to the address you've indicated in your G5 Friends account. If you don’t find the confirmation letter in your inbox, don’t forget to check your spam folder.
Make sure to write down your login and password somewhere safe. You can then use your G5 Friends login and password to transfer your progress to the game downloaded from the website.
You can log into the existing G5 Friends account after downloading the game and completing the tutorial in the following way:
- Locate the 'Friends' icon at the bottom of the screen on your main game board.
- In a new window, select 'My Profile' at the very bottom of the screen.

Question: I cannot log into my Facebook account from within the game.
Answer: We are sorry to inform you that Facebook authentication is no longer accessible in G5 Games. This will result in further inability to invite friends from Facebook to the game and set an avatar from your Facebook account. Also, posting achievements, rating the game, and other game activities that require interacting with Facebook may be temporarily unavailable.
Don’t worry, your game progress won’t be affected. Make sure you have created an account with G5 Friends and linked it to your email address. This will ensure the security of your account and prevent any loss of game progress. You can then use your G5 Friends login credentials to transfer your progress to other platforms and devices.

Question: The game doesn’t run after installation or shuts down during play. What am I to do?
Answer: To ensure optimal performance of the game, it is recommended that you restart your device after installing a new application.
Question: I cannot launch the game. What should I do?

Question: I have already played this game on my previous device and now I’ve got a new one. How can I transfer the game progress I’ve already made to it?
Answer: In order to save/restore your game progress, please log into your G5 Friends account in the following way:
- Tap on the 'Friends' icon at the bottom of the screen on your main game board.
- In a new window tap 'My Profile' in the very bottom of the screen.
- Tap on 'Change Player' in order to log in with the Player Login and password you used in your game before.
- Tap on 'Sign in' to confirm.
Question: How to use items from the Inventory?
Answer: As you choose any item in your Inventory, a small screen appears describing the item itself and its purpose in the game. Some directions/tips are depicted on the loading screen. These directions are displayed right above the loading bar.
Question: My game freezes. What should I do?
Answer: Please contact our Support Team at support@g5.com with a detailed description of your issue for us to investigate your matter as quickly as possible.
Question: How do I minimize (close) the game on Windows?
Answer: Try hovering over the upper-right corner of the screen to have the Close (x) button appear on the screen. Alternatively, you can press Alt and F4 keys simultaneously. You may also try hovering over the top of the screen until the tab-like animation appears. Click it and select "Close app" among the options offered or the "Collapse" button to minimize the game.
Question: Where do I find game rules?
Answer: As you start the game it leads you through the gameplay with small instructions introducing the main game features and controls. As you tap on any item in your Inventory, a small screen appears describing the item itself and its purpose in the game. Also, you can see some useful tips while the game is loading. Those tips are displayed in the lower part of the game screen.
Question: How can I add items to my Wish List?
Answer: You can add items to your Wish List in the following way:
- Open the Collections menu. All collection items and assemblers are listed here.
- At the top of the page you can see your Wish List.
- You can add an assembler to your Wish List by tapping the green plus sign next to the assembler you need.
To remove any item from your Wish List, please tap the red cross sign next to the item in either Wish List. Alternatively, you can do that directly in the Collections menu. Keep in mind that only assemblers can be added to your Wish List. Collection items are not yet available for requesting.
